JAI #72 Entry

Hi All,

A second quick post tonight, this time to enter the Just Add Ink Challenge #72 where we needed to add colouring in!!

My daughter's b'day invites fit this challenge perfectly, with just a touch of colouring added in.

The photo isn't the best for this, taken at night on my phone camera... NOT recommended but all the invites have been sent and I don't have any spares.... Oh, and the blurred part was just the address....

Latest Workshop Class

Hi Everyone,

To make up for an absence in blogging lately, I thought I'd show you my latest workshop card... I was inspired by this card here from the splitcoast stampers gallery but tweaked it a bit to make:

What do you think? It sure showcases a lot of Stampin' Up!'s great products!!

And my card also matches the challenge this week on a new challenge site I've discovered "Southern Girls Challenge" (week #21) and as it's an anything goes challenge, I've entered it....

May's Class...

Hi Everyone,

My class back in May was all about the kids, and as such we made 4 different cards and co-ordinating boxes.

This is the first set:

This is the second (using the same layout and box design):

These cards were inspired by this link and the boxes are from my easter choccy basket as seen here.

This is the third set:

And this is the fourth set:

These boxes were made following this peek-a-boo box tutorial and you can see another version I made here.

If you would like to know more about any of these cards and boxes, please email me or leave a comment with your email address below.

Sentiment from my stash

Obviously another 'pink' day in our house lol.... but don't worry the masculine cards for Friday night's class are in progress and I'm pretty happy with them too :)

Ummm not quite a men's card is it?

Hi All,

My aim this long wkend was to make a stash of men's cards and prep for my upcoming class on Friday night....

Well, I made it to the craft room, tidied up some bits and pieces and made a card. But somehow I don't think this is really going to suit any of the men or boys that I know...

What do you reckon lol!!?

And here's couple of pics of my new crafting space, just excuse the stuff that's still sitting on my desk...

All the current stamps are up the top, knick knacks on the next shelf, then cardstock,  next is retired stamps and lastly samples, swaps I've received (in the boxes) and some notepads waiting to be decorated

My BigShot has it's own special space!

Well, gotta go before my kidlets (and hubby) destroy the house, they are all very tired today!

A couple of pirate ships for yarrrr!

Hi All,

Well, you would think I would have done a load of crafting whilst I've had bad internet connections over the last 10days or so.... but nup, sadly I didn't :(

I've been sorting out more stuff in the old craft room.... Gee it takes a long time with 2 pint sized helpers! All they wanna do is use mummy's stamps (and that's all I wanna do too but it doesn't always work that way)!! So it's very slow progress!

Anyway, now that my internet appears to be working again, I do have a few things to show you.. In the clean up I found some of these pirate ship images ready stamped and awaiting to be coloured...

The ships are from the retired 'ahoy matey' stamp set, the papers from my stash, the card stock colours are  mellow moss, ruby red, not quite navy, baja breeze and river rock.

Ok, enough of my rambling, I hope you all have a wonderful weekend and to those in WA, enjoy your long weekend!
